Traditional 17th. century patio house within the medieval walls of Vejer. Located in a quiet pedestrian street overlooking a courtyard with palm tree the house has three different levels. From the beautiful terrace enjoy views of the medieval walls, the Las Breñas Nature Park, beaches and even Morocco on a clear day.
This house once home to the The house has a classic patio (closed with a glass roof) with columns and original arches. Off the patio is a living room, kitchen and toilet. Up the stairs to the first floor there are two bedrooms with a double bed and a bathroom with a large shower. On the third level there is another bedroom with a single bed and a spare bed. From here you access the terrace with views of the Marismas de Barbate and the coast. WiFi included. For children there is a gate at the top of the main staircase but there is no gate at the bottom. Please be careful with small children. The house is an authentic old family home that has been lovingly restored by the owners of Hotel La Casa del Califa.
The house is right at the entrance to the Jewish quarter. It is a quiet pedestrian area, all streets are cobblestones with pots on the doors and views of classic Andalucian patios. Neighbours are generally older and friendly who like to chat with visitors.
There is street parking 100m. from the house although sometimes a little further. You can stop your car to unload suitcases or purchases just 50m. away. Be aware that most streets in the old town are narrow and sometimes difficult to navigate by car.
