Nür is located in the old town of Vejer and has the architecture of a traditional Vejer merchants house with a large central courtyard that receives natural light from the huge skylight over the patio. An entrance with wooden beams and Andalucian tiles welcomes you to Casa Nür, in the old town of Vejer. The centre of the house has a bright courtyard with a huge skylight providing natural light all day. The courtyard amongst other furniture holds an antique wooden dining table with a capacity for eight people and a comfortable two-seater sofa.
A door off the patio leads to the spacious kitchen fully equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven and all the usual amenities. There is a window to the outside, a walk in larder and a breakfast table for four. On this floor there is also a bathroom with a shower.
The ground floor also has a spacious living room with two comfortable sofas, a plasma TV on the wall and two windows over the street. Next to it there is another smaller sitting room with another sofa ideal for relaxing and reading.
A wide staircase leads up to the top floor where there are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the double bedrooms has a separate dressing room with armchair and window. The second bedroom has two windows and there is a third one with a balcony to the outside. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub and the second one has a shower.
A staircase leads to the attic where the fourth double bedroom is located. This is a very cosy room with a pitched roof, wooden beams and a skylight on the roof. The attic has its own bathroom.
On the rooftop (adjacent to the attic room) enjoy a small rooftop kitchen with dining table and chairs. There is also comfortable sofa and armchairs overlooking the village and the Divino Salvador Parish Church, Vejer’s main church, built on top of an old Arab mosque.
Casa Nür is located in the old quarter of Vejer, but outside of the medieval walls. This is a picturesque neighbourhood of whitewashed houses decorated with coloured pots on the wall. There is a small palm filled plaza just 20m. away and Nür is 200m. from the Plazuela and the village’s main restaurant and bar area.
The nearest car park is about 30 meters from the house. You can stop at the door to unload luggage and shopping. When driving, keep in mind that most of the streets in the old town of Vejer are very narrow.
